SDL devoted to the environmental air quality assurance work during the 19th Asian Games

2023-09-23

The 19th Asian Games grandly opened in Hangzhou on September 23, 2023, and the green concept was integrated into all aspects of the Asian Games work in Hangzhou, Zhejiang.

SDL actively responded to the call for the environmental air quality assurance work of the Asian Games and carried out environmental air quality navigation monitoring in four places: Hangzhou, Ningbo, Deqing of Huzhou, and Xiuzhou of Jiaxing.

In Hangzhou and Ningbo, as the manufacturer and operation and maintenance service provider of the vehicle-mounted Proton Transfer Reaction Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry (PTR-TOFMS) products, SDL applied the advanced PTR-TOFMS technology to accurately and rapidly monitor and analyze a variety of organic volatile compounds (VOCs), providing important data support for air quality guarantee work of the Asian Games.

Meanwhile, in Deqing of Huzhou and Xiuzhou of Jiaxing, as the provider of the atmospheric navigation monitoring service, SDL's atmospheric VOCs traceability navigation monitoring vehicle was equipped with on-board PTR-TOFMS, six conventional parameters of the atmosphere (PM2.5, PM10, SO2, NO2, CO, O3), and other monitoring equipment. It can efficiently collect air quality data while moving, and provide comprehensive and accurate air quality information for the local area.

SDL Atmospheric Navigation Monitoring Service

 · The air pollutant monitoring equipment PTR-TOFMS with high sensitivity and high resolution, which can quickly and accurately detect more than 100 kinds of volatile organic compounds in the air.

 · The method of measuring while moving is adopted to ensure the timeliness of the monitoring data.

 · Experienced professional technicians are equipped to ensure the smooth progress of the monitoring work from both the field and remote aspects.

SDL Proton Transfer Reaction Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry

By combining the proton transfer reaction and time-of-flight mass spectrometry, it realizes the qualitative and quantitative analysis of VOCs/SVOCs at the pptv level within seconds.

 · Real-time online monitoring without sample collection and pretreatment

 · High sensitivity with the detection limit as low as the pptv level, and capable of detecting trace pollutants

 · Fast response speed, which can quickly identify pollutants within (50-100) ms

 · Accurately identifying chemical components with high mass resolution (FWHM ≥ 4000M/ΔM)
